Virtual Call Center

Stumble it!

A virtual call center is similar to a regular call center except for the fact that call center operators (or agents) aren’t sitting next to each other in a call center office. Virtual call center agents can be spread all over the world working on the same calls. Many people believe this is the future of call centers because it saves time on a daily commute and money by not having to pay for all of the incidentals such as phones, computers, electricity, etc. for call center agents.

Virtual Call Center agents work from home on the same clients and calls that on site call center agents do. While being at home, they will either receive a list of customers to call, or a list of phone calls to answer. Many virtual call centers set their agents up with a Skype account and wireless headset. When a call comes in, each virtual call center agent will see the call, and whoever answers first gets the call. This is very similar to a local call center where multiple phones will ring and one agent will answer the call.

Another way that a virtual call center can be set up is with Pretty May. Pretty man works just like a call center phone system but it works remotely for virtual call center agents. These agents will all see a call come in through Skype and allow each agent to see the calls coming in. If you want calls to be routed to a certain location during certain times of the day (lunch break, after hours, etc.) Pretty May can handle that.

Virtual call centers can be set up relatively inexpensively, in fact, Pretty May even offers the ability to download a 15-day trial free!

Don’t delay, start your own virtual call center today!
