Call Center Inbound Services

Stumble it!

Call centers usually fall into one of two categories, inbound services and outbound services.

Inbound call centers focus on receiving calls hence the “inbound” portion of the name. Many inbound call centers take technical support, customer service, and order taking phone calls.

One of the benefit of call center inbound services is that it is easy to train call center agents.  Since the callers are calling your call center, you can train the call center agent to not only answer questions based on a script, but you can also train them to upsell certain products or services based on which direction the call is heading.

Another benefit to an inbound call center is there isn’t the same pressure on the call center representative that there is on an outbound call center representative.  Since they don’t have the same pressure they tend to be happier and will treat your customers with the same respect you will treat them with.

If you decide to find an inbound call center to handle your incoming calls, make sure and shop around.  There are a lot of different inbound call centers in a variety of locations including the Philippines, Pennsylvania, and even Barbados.  Prices range as well so make sure you know all the facts before deciding on a certain call center.
